The Alness is a performance parka jacket with a casual look. The MILATEX outer fabric provides 5k waterproof, 5k breathable and windproof protection from the weather, while 550 fill power down insulation delivers excellent levels of warmth and comfort. Taped seams, a DWR finish and a double storm flap add to the protection. Other details include useful lower pockets, zipped chest pockets and inner zipped pockets. The hem, cuffs and waist are all adjustable for added comfort. The hood is both adjustable and removable (with a fused hood peak), while a Tricot inner collar and chin guard helps to reduce any chafing.
