Specially selected by the Best of British team for Marks and Spencer, this mélange stripe shirt, is made from 100% cotton, designed and woven in Italy by Cotonificio Albini. Featuring a clean bluff edge collar and French armhole seams, Best of British shirts are manufactured in Kent by Rayner & Sturges. Contonificio Albini was founded in 1876 in the borough of Albino, Italy. Today the company is under the guidance of the fifth generation of the founder family. Rayner & Sturges began making detachable shirt collars in Brompton, Kent in the early 20th century. By 1935 the company had become shirtmakers in their own right. Their collars are made in the traditional way: hand-turned with a loose lining and collar stiffener slots.
